Art & Propaganda in Japan
Japan’s propaganda during World War II was based upon making a unified Asia. It expressed the evil of western influence and what it was doing to Asia. However, the glory that Japan was promising was false, they just wanted the countries natural resources and more land. Here are some examples of Japanese propaganda.
This propaganda showed that Manchuria would live happily as a part of Japan. As they had just recently invaded Japan. The poster says, ”With the cooperation of Japan, China, and Manchukuo the world can be in peace.” This poster was published by the Japanese puppet-state of Manchukuo.
